I couldn't resist the name.....

This scarecrow make do is made of muslin and attached to a wood candle stick. Together, this piece stands 15 inches tall.

I painted the scarecrow's eyes and stitched around them. His mouth is rusty wire that has been stitched to his face. His nose is a piece of material that is also stitched in place. His hair is jute rope.

He wears a tattered burlap hat with stuffing poking out here and there. A grubby, baby crow sits on the side of his hat. Rusty jingle bells are wired to his neck.
